4EVER is the first posthumous release from the Purple One, and it's a good one. At 40 tracks deep, the 4LP release collects all the hits (family-friendly "edit" versions) from Prince's illustrious career. If you're looking for rarer and/or previously unreleased selections from the late icon, this 4LP Boxset is not for you. However, most die-hard fans will be stoked with what's offered here: "1999," "Little Red Corvette," "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go Crazy," "Raspberry Beret," "I Wanna Be Your Lover"... and that's just the first disc. 4Ever also includes "Moonbeam Levels" (time to put away those bootleg copies) straight from the archives, as well as exclusive photo art prints by Herb Ritts.
